I was reading Paola Santiago and the River of Tears and there’s a Demon Dog. I thought it was funny because that’s what we call Koko, Demon dog. She’s a feisty little one, but she was being sweet here so I wanted to capture this moment before I lost it. Fun fact about this pic: I tried moving my arm to turn the page for us, and she bit my wrist. Definitely used that for my caption to that post lmao

This WAS the cone for the hurricanes that were expected to cross paths and head towards where I am. I am no longer in their paths and although that makes me ridiculously happy, it also makes me really sad for our neighbors in Louisiana. Sending them thoughts and prayers as they go through this double whammy.
