These showed up in my mailbox and when I opened them at home I legit squealeddddddd Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have to say, this is the first time I’ve gotten books with people that look like me from the publishers and not have to trade for them. (Besides from conferences.) and I’ve been blogging for 10 years. Thank you. I cannot say that enough.

Y’all, this week I was BLESSEDDDDDDDD by the Gods for all this Black People Magic that I got in this week’s haul. Thank you publishers, Netgalley, and Edelweiss.

My pre-orders finally came in! And they look so gorgeous! The Voting Booth is like really, really amazing, and it has some thick paper. It’s a really important book, so I’m glad it seems pretty durable. I will definitely be reading them more than once.

I made some bookmarks out of some Instagram pictures for the teens. The last week of Summer Reading for my library system is Books. There’s going to be multiple author talks, so I wanted to do something like a craft or something. So I went with bookmarks instead. And this time they get to create their own! Once they email them back to me I will laminate them and I can even email them instructions on how to add a tassel and beads if they want to! Clearly I had too much fun with this. I did a Wonder Woman, an authors and me, a Keno Bean, and a #LibrayLife one.
