Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee’s View & Alison Can Read.

The goal is to increase blog followers and make friends. Basically how it works is you follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. So looking forward to making new blogging friends & following blogs!

is there a book you were required to read in high school that you ACTUALLY loved?

     To Kill a MockingbirdMacbeth
To Kill a Mockingbird featured discrimination to African Americans so I wasn’t expecting to like it at all, but it turned out to be about so much more than that. I ended up falling in love with the book and reading it at least once a year when I was in college.
Macbeth was read around my paranormal romance days, and I was obsessed with the witches that were walking around telling people prophecies and such and it was GREAT. Fun fact: I wrote something from the witches POV for a class project I had. I made an A+ on it and I thought I was the SHIT lmao

What books were you required to read in high school but loved?

  1. I remember these two. Sadly they weren't faves for me. Hardly anything was in school. I was the teenager craving a paranormal read and sadly, YA books had not gotten around to those but for a select few. I was a weird teenager back then, but now would be considered totally normal! LOL!

I did end up with a fave required read though. And even after college, it was still the only required book that I enjoyed!

    Here's my Follow Friday

    Have a GREAT day!
