Follow Friday: Sticking to Your TBR

Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee’s View & Alison Can Read.

The goal is to increase blog followers and make friends. Basically how it works is you follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. So looking forward to making new blogging friends & following blogs!

do you decide in advance what you read for the coming week or month? Why/why not?
I TRY to because I try to read whatever books I need to read for ATWAT first and then (since I just started book club) I start on book club books. After that I go on to whatever is going to be released the next month. For example, if I have a book that is being released in February, I will read it in January so that I have enough time to read and review it before the book comes out next month. Buttttttt we all know that is not how that happens. If I have a book that I’m extremely excited about, I will drop everything and read it! For instance, I’ll Meet You There by Heather Demetrios isn’t being released until February, but as soon as I’m caught up during this month, it’s on my agenda.

What about you?
Do you have your TBR completely planned out?
Do you ever stray from it?

  1. I'm the same in the sense that I try to stick to my need to reads first, like review books. Though it seems every time I am almost caught up and done, I get more to review. And I do really want to read them but then there are other books in my TBR Mountain of Doom that I have been dying to read for weeks!

For instance I did just take a review break this week, of course there were a few mishaps and DNF in the way, but after my current read I go back to the review books for a bit! Hopefully until I can clear them because there's only 3 at the moment!

    Here's my Follow Friday

    Have a GREAT day!

  2. I should probably read my books for review a month before they are released. I try to review them around their release date but that is kind of problematic sometimes. Like at the moment I have four being released next Tuesday and I've only finished one. But I'm totally with you about wanting to read a book you're excited about sooner.

    Happy FF! Old follower.
