For FAF I couldn’t find anything on my current read “Hereafter” by Tara Hudson because it’s a fairly new release, so I went to my recently finished book, “Perfect Chemistry” by Simone Elkeles.
“Just do it,” she says, sensing my hesitation.
So I do, but when she sucks in a breath, I just wish I could take the pain away from her.
She sniffs and wipes a tear that’s running down her cheek. Seeing her that emotional is my undoing. For the first time since I saw my dad lying dead in front of me, a tear drops from my eye.
She holds my head in her hands and kisses my tear away.
“It’s okay, Alex.”
This was from onlymistress over at deviantart.com. It really is beautiful and the scene that she chose it to go with is one of my favorites. This is exactly how I saw the scene in my mind’s eye. Cheers to you onlymistress! Thank you for your beautiful artwork.
Now, I told myself I wouldn’t take up anymore weekly meme’s because now I have one for four days of the week, but today the question from one of the more popular meme’s caught my eye and I HAD to do it.
This meme comes from Jen over at Crazy For Books 🙂 In the spirit of the Twitter Friday Follow, the Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and share our love of the written word! This weekly BOOK PARTY is an awesome opportunity for book bloggers to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books! It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs to read!
This week’s question:
I learned to read when I was four too. My Mom taught me how when I was sick in the hospital with nothing else to do. Been reading ever since. And I loved all of those books you listed. Babysitter's Club was great, and I just read the HP series earlier this year and mad I waited so long. They were EXCELLENT!
I'm a new follower an d wanted to stop by and say hi for the blog hop!

When did I first realize I loved reading? I wish I could prove a pre-natal predilection towards books but my memories don’t stretch back quite that far.
The earliest memories I can recall involved books. First having them read to me then reading them on my own the minute I had the ability.
Books have been a major part of my life ever since. My passion for the written word knowing no bounds, I started writing books on top of reading them about ten years ago.

It is one of my fav scenes too. It was so prescious and fragile and so strong of love. I love this book and I love the sequel "Rules of Attraction" too 🙂
