OK So y’all know how much I love mysteries. There’s not much that I can do once I get one in my hand until I read it. And sure enough, this is what happened with this one. And it was just weird enough to make an imprint on me lol
Ok so I love books that have social media incorporated. The reasoning being nothing more than the fact that so many people are turning toward social media to make money now and influencers are making money in ways we’ve never seen before. Usually I see them in romacnes, but this one just so happened to be a thriller. And it was on something that I’d never even expressed interest in before lol I’ve never been into #Tradwife or anything else like it, but while I was reading this, I was hooked. And it wasn’t what it was about, it was more like the drama. And like, are they all like that? Because what in the world lol
The mystery was ok. I knew who it was, but I messed up on the why. I don’t think literally anyone would come up with this why lol It was hella crazy. I remembered saying “WTF?!” out loud when it happened because WTF?! How did they just become ok with this? These were some weird ass fucking people lol And let me just say, I was so happy when things turned out the way they did. Because anything else was unacceptable lol
The plot was ok. I liked the idea of her getting her old friend to help her with everything. But I also didn’t buy that she knew anything. It was just too convenient. She got all of that from one clue? I don’t buy it. And y’all know that’s my pet peeve. Finding clues in too easy ways will never be ok with me lol But for what its worth, I can say it was ok because she was a journalist and she was nosey af so I allowed it lol
This was so much fun. I loved so many things about this, but let me just say, that ending was a little confusing. Definitely not something I was expecting. But now I need to know………. Are we getting another one? I wouldn’t be mad about it. So yeah, let me know what’s going on……
