As a child, in my household, we decorated for EVERYTHING. Especially Halloween since my birthday is two days after it (November 2nd) Adding to my interest, as I delved deeper and deeper into the YA book realm, I became more and more interested in the different types of “creatures” there were out there. So, I had a semi-brillant idea this morning. I decided I would spread my love for Halloween by hosting “31 Days of Halloween” here at Take Me Away…
This will include:
1. Reviews that have scary creatures or just scary books in general
2. Creature Features (Much like My Book Boyfriend hosted by Missie the Unread Reader) Show off your favorite creatures from your favorite books!
3. Teaser Tuesday of creepy scenes, or just scenes that will make yourr heart pound
4. Personal scary stories that I (or someone else) may have experienced
4. Personal scary stories that I (or someone else) may have experienced
And anything else I can think of. If there’s something you would like to see during this time, send me an email to pnh002@gmail.com and let me know! Also, don’t be afraid to email me and let me know if you want to guest post if you have any real life scary experiences or anything that you would like to share!
At the end of the month, I will host a giveaway for one of the “scary books” that I reviewed that during the month. You will have your choice from a list! These are some of the reviews I’m looking at reviewing:
Shattered Souls by Mary Lindsey
Rot & Ruin by John Mayberry
Deity by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Ten by Gretchen McNeil
Girl of Nightmares by Kendare Blakely
and the lost goes on.
Be sure to check back at the end of the month for the correct list!

Please look out for the cool events! I’m kind of excited!
(As I just thought about this a couple minutes ago, this event is kind of rushed. I have a week to think about everything, but I’m going to try my best and make sure that its a good month for everyone!
The name is borrowed from the ABC network. I am in no shape or form taking credit for coming up with it. Only using it to go along with the shows!
How fun! What a great idea!
Thank you!
This sounds like fun! I'll be checking in for you posts!
