Do you keep up with the hype surrounding books?
Kind of? I keep up with all YA because I’m a librarian who buys books for a living. I have to know which is really good or which is harmful etc. As for anything adult, I don’t usually. I only get hype for things I want to read about. Like romance, Own Voices books, Thrillers, Horror, Diverse Books, etc.
What about you? Do you fall for the hype? Let me know in the comments!
When it’s your job to know what’s “hot” it’s understandable to be in the know! Lol. I feel like I’m maybe 50/50 on it. There are times when a book gets hyped or hyped on my feed at least that will draw my interest, other times, I know enough that it won’t be for me. Even if it’s a genre I enjoy!
