Do you read books by diverse authors or books with diverse characters (such as LGBT, ethnic minorities, religious minorities, etc)? If yes, do you have any book recommendations? Do you visit indie and/or used bookstores? Also, have you ever worked in any?
YES. I try to ALWAYS and mostly promote diverse books. That’s my main objective. There’s enough people promoting those that aren’t. I have PLENTY of recs, but it depends on what you like. I can find one from any genre with my trusty Our Voices spreadsheet I’ve made to track all the Diverse Books I’ve read over the years.

I normally only frequent 1 indie bookstore, Blue Willow. I have never worked in one tho. I’ve never sold books at all. I tried to get a job at a Hastings a long time ago and they told me I was over qualified…. I was a freshman in college and was just then starting my book blog. Ever since then, I’ve always given books away for just the price of a library card lol

Well, at least they told you you were overqualified to work there! Lol. I wanted to work at Borders way back in the day, but the one by my house wasn’t hiring and I didn’t get my license until after I started working so working at one farther away wouldn’t have been ideal.
