Do you agree that libraries should ban books?
As a librarian I’m going to say HELL NO. You don’t get to make decisions for MY KIDS. I don’t even know you! If you have a problem with XYZ book, DON’T CHECK IT OUT. And don’t get me started on the fact that those books might not be for you, but they’re for someone else. NOT ALL FAMILIES LOOK ALIKE. We have a job to represent ALL PEOPLE. Not just the regular family that you have deemed ok. LET KIDS READ WTF THEY WANT TO READ. I mean BFFR.
Also, I don’t like the way this question is….. If you agree with this, I will most definitely have to find a different Friday meme.
