
It’s back-to-school time. What book would you recommend to students, whether it’s an educational read or an enjoyable diversion from textbooks?

These are a few I would use to be educational. But there’s also some that I had in mind for enjoyment, like some retellings. But I would only use those that are retellings of the classics. And I would only use diverse ones.

OOh nice picks! And I didn’t even think about the retellings of classics! That’s a good idea! Maybe even have them read the original and the retelling! I took a college class once where we read the book and then watched the movie and then had various discussions.
