If you receive a request from an author to read his/her/their book, and you don’t have time do you suggest another way to help the author?
I don’t usually get requests from authors. As a librarian who has to use certain vendors we don’t always have access to self-pubbed books. But when I do get stuff from self-pubbed authors, I don’t accept anything that I don’t have time for. I do offer to do something else, like showcasing it here on my WoW or on a Book Blogger Hop post. But it will always say for sure I haven’t read it.

I get the request every so often and about half of those are for books that do not fit my reading preference at all. I feel like promo posts don’t always get the attention they deserve but I suppose this is something I could do in the future.
