Have you ever ventured out of your preferred genres? If so, were you surprised you enjoyed the book?
I try to read all the things if they’re in YA for work. But for the most part I’ve found at least ONE book in each one that I enjoyed. I’m never surprised since like I said I have to read some of everything. But also idk if it’s considered cheating lol I usually read something with my favorite genres as the subgenres LOL If it’s not broken, why fix it?

Nice! Yeah, I do tend to stick to my favorite genres as well. Sometimes I feel like I pick different kinds of books that can fall into those categories but I don’t know. They seem different to me but other people likely would say they are the same!
