Are you a member of any book clubs, and if so, what has been your most memorable book to discuss with them?
Kind of but not really. Since I read so much new releases to stay up on trends and stuff, and since I read YA mostly I don’t have alot to offer book clubs unless they read the same things lol but mostly the answer is no. Also I could be hella excited about a book, but the moment I make myself read it, I get completely turned off and don’t want to. However………….. when I call them groupchat reads it makes it easier on me. It takes the pressure off of them. Anyway, I’m in one Discord called BIPOC Readers. I think the most impactful was the water creature one we read that none of us liked lmfao The other Groupchat I’m in doesn’t have a real name, just my buddy read group. I think our most impactful was Amari’s first book.

Oh that sounds fun! I don’t really do book clubs myself. There’s always the “is this a book I want to read?” Then I worry about reading too fast or too slow to participate in discussions. Then there’s the actual participating and will I have anything to say? Too much stress.
