Is it difficult to find new books in local bookstores?
Depends on the type of books you’re looking for and where you’re looking at and last but not least, who’s looking. Because this BIPOC reader has had some difficulty finding some BIPOC books. No matter what bookstore I go to. But I also know what books to ask them to stock because I’m a book person. For someone who isn’t, I’m almost positive they would have more trouble finding books that represent them.
Also, I’m not about to argue with you on my blog. This question already seems a bit passive aggressive because of what’s happening now at B&N. Almost like they don’t believe it so they want to ask this question to crowd source….. But I’m not saying anything because I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt……

So far it seems we all struggle a bit to find certain releases on the shelves in the stores. Every once in awhile I struggle to find new releases on the shelves and then I end up ordering online since no one want to carry it.
