What fantasy or Sci-fi should be part of the literary canon??
Ok so I don’t exactly read THAT MUCH sci-fi/fantasy, so I’m just going to say some that I read and will re-read at a moment’s notice. Or that I’d read anything at all with that trope/story.
This means I would also read something like Tristan Strong, Race to the Sun, & The Storm Runner. Basically a chosen one, celebrating their own mythology, along with some characters from their mythology too. I fell in love with this storyline in Percy Jackson, but I have loved every book like this since then. I hope there’s some more like this in my lifetime that I can see published later.

Interesting. I’m not entirely sure I understood the question completely when I answered mine as I wasn’t sure which canon we were referring to! Lol. But as I am seeing some posts I’m realizing where I went wrong! Lol.
