Are there any books that are considered terrible but you love?
I’m going to go with anything that y’all want to ban. And you can pick, because there’s so many of them. But they’re not actually terrible. And they wouldn’t know anyways, because the banners don’t actually read them.

I once helped my sister when she was teaching 5th grade build a classroom library of banned books. I don’t think they were “banned” by the school necessarily, as she offered them for reading purposes. But books that made other “banned” lists and sometimes the reasons were so silly. Like Alice in Wonderland was banned because talking animals was blasphemous…and having a girl as the heroine wasn’t “right.” Can’t remember where I read that last one but it was extra fodder for poor Alice! But yeah, I always kind of felt like if you want a book to get read more, ban it. Defeat the purpose of your banning by banning it. Lol.
