July is the month for reading by the pool or on the beach. What’s your favorite summer beach book, and why is it suitable for a sunny day?
Ok so hear me out. I usually only read horror/thrillers during the summer. (And well any time lol But MOSTLY then because there’s always so many that come out before the new Halloween season hits.) So for me, I think mine would be any book that’s chilly enough to read on a hot day. As of right now, I’m really in the thick of it. Here’s the last two I finished, one of my current reads, and one that I checked out to read soon!:

Oooh nice! I do like spooky reads just about any time of year! I like to read more of them in September and October for Spooky Season myself! I have The Blonde Dies First in my TBR as well that I got as an extra goody during Indie Bookstore Day. Just haven’t gotten it up to my queue because I am in event mode reading! Lol. But yes, spooky reads are always a win!
