
What are your thoughts on book-to-book comparisons (for example, “It’s the next Hunger Games”)?
I don’t actually pay them any mind because the few that I did look at, were completely wrong. I DO like the ones that say they’re a cross between one thing and something else tho. I love the creativity and I love seeing if I can pick which parts of each were the reason for “you” to say that if that makes any sense.

Ooh I forgot about a comparison of a cross between two authors! That would definitely get my attention more. I don’t really care for the tactic myself. It can make or break my looking at a book to be honest. If it’s compared to an author/book I already like we might be in business. But even then, it only gets me to take a look at the cover jacket! Lol.
