If you can, recommend a book from the following genres, what would they be? A book from: Romance, NA, YA, & Fantasy?
I hate the way this is worded…. I think it should say recc something from this age group, because I don’t see YA and NA as genres. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
-NA: Wait for You by Jennifer L. Armentrout: It’s been quite a while since I read an NA novel (other than A Court of Thorns and Roses), so this is weird for me. But one series I will always remember is Wait For You. I’ve read it multiple times and I have loved it each time I’ve read it. But JLA is also one of my favorite authors, so I knew I needed to include this one.
-YA: Stamped by Jason Reynolds and Ibram X. Kendi: I just recently finished this one, and although it’s a non-fiction book, I still think it needs to be talked about! This is definitely one of my favorites of the year, and I really hope everyone else reads it too!
-Fantasy: A Song of Wraiths and Ruin by Roseanne A. Brown: I just recently loved this one! It’s West African folklore, and non-stop action! I LOVED getting lost in this world!
-Romance: The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory: This romance had everything I needed in a romance! A “forced together meet cute,” a cute romance, and some genuine characters. And the rest of the series has also worked very well for me!
So that’s what I have! I hope someone picks at least one of these up because of me! If you do, let me know which one!
Have you already read any of these? Will you read any of them now? Let me know in the comments!
Yeah…I thought so too. NA and YA are so broad…so naturally I took the paranormal route! Lol! A Song of Wraith and Ruin is on my list though. That one sounds like something I would love!
Here’s my BBH
