Do you acknowledge publication days for books you have read with a blog or social media post?
Depends…. If I loved it and have also pre-ordered it, then yes. It’s normally a social media post. Or it might be a blitz that I was asked to do with the publisher in exchange for the getting the book as an e-ARC. (Not to be an influencer!) I think the last one I did was for Kosoko Jackson’s I’m So Not Over You where I reminded everyone it’s still Black History Month and to remember to still support Black Businesses!

If I can remember to, I usually send out a Happy Book Birthday tweet to authors for their new release! Though for some authors it doesn’t seem necessary or the author may not even have a social media account there and I just don’t bother. But I do like giving shout outs to favorite authors when I can!
