Do you evr feel like you have emerged better for reading a book?
All the time when I read a diverse book and learn something new about someone else’s culture. So that I can better serve them. I also feel like that after I recc books to the teens I work for. As a librarian, my high is getting a book into a teen’s hands and then hearing later that they loved it.
