Get ready to laugh out loud with this hilarious romantic comedy featuring:
• A grumpy firefighter who thinks his way is the only way
• A bubbly yoga teacher who prefers to go with the flow
• Adorable Dalmatians who swap places—and the chaos that ensues
• An opposites-attract romance that’ll warm your heart

Violet March and Sam Nash are as different as night and day and have been enemies ever since Violet accused Sam of dognapping her beloved Dalmatian. Sam knows that’s impossible—for one thing, his dog Cinder is a well-trained fire safety dog who never steps out of line. Violet’s dog Sprinkles, on the other hand, has never met a command that she didn’t ignore completely, much like her bubbly owner. So when Sprinkles and Cinder accidentally switch places during the annual police vs. fire department softball tournament, Violet is thrilled by her dog’s sudden perfect behavior, while stubborn-yet-charming Sam is horrified to find that his dog no longer listens.
But when the dogs are eventually switched back, Sam and Violet are shocked to find that not everything is as simple as it seems. And a little puppy love might be just the thing they’ve been missing…

BETWEEN THE COVERS!
*This book is part of the adult contemporary romance genre! It is more mature than YA. I have featured it in Between the Covers as a way to feature the few Adult and New Adult titles I am beginning to read!”

*MY THOUGHTS*

I can’t lie. I only added this because of the adorable doggos on the cover lol And even though this was only an ok read, it’s because of them that I would say this book still deserving of a read.

Sam and his god Cinder have just moved in to Turtle Beach Island to become the island’s next fire marshal. As he gets to know the town, he meets Violet, a bubbly yoga teacher and her dog Sprinkles. They both are the complete opposite of each other, but there’s such a strong connection between them. But is this town big enough for two Dalmatians and their crazy owners?

I LOVED Cinder and Sprinkles! As a dog person I knew from the cover this was going to be a super cute read from them alone. And it definitely was. Cinder is a disciplined dog that follows the rules and teaches fire facts like it’s nobody’s business. Sprinkles on the other hand is the complete opposite. She’s a chaotic, free willed dog who did whatever she wanted. The two of them contrasted each other very well and made for a super interesting read.

The romance was cute for what it was. I was expecting at least a level 3 of spice, but as it turns out…. It wasn’t. Normally I would be ok with that, but after having just read a book with a spice level of only 2, I wanted more than this spice level 1 could give. So if you’re wondering if you want to read this, be advised that this only has kissing. The overall romance itself was ok though. I thought they were cute together, and I thought their feud was cute also. And I mean come on, he’s a man in uniform… I don’t blame her for not being able to resist him.

The humor in this one was so so good! That kiss in the office was PRICELESS. I laughed so hard I woke my sleeping baby up! It wasn’t funny, but it was hilarious. Definitely felt like that would really happen with Violet’s clumsy self. The star of the show though was Sprinkles. She was the cause of 98% of the funny stuff that happened. Another reason Cinder and Sprinkles were my favorite characters.

This was another book that I chose to read because of the cover lol I was hoping for a super sweet, super spicy read, but I only got a sweet one. But even if you ask me now have I learned my lesson about reading books based on the cover….. Nope. Not at all. I’d still read the next one in the series if there was one.

Overall, I give this
