Follow Friday: Special Memes or Features You’ve Come Up With?

Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee’s View & Alison Can Read.

The goal is to increase blog followers and make friends. Basically how it works is you follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. So looking forward to making new blogging friends & following blogs!

have you come up with any special meme or features on your blog that you’d like people to visit more?
LOL So that was MY question! Pretty cool! But now it’s like I’m talking to myself haha (Don’t mind me, I’ve had too much caffeine at the time I was writing this post lol)

I came up with the idea for “Beyond the Book” awhile ago. In this feature I take different scenes from books and tie them in to my life. I can make them personal or even just funny, or bookish. Although each and every post means something to me, I do have a couple of favorites. My favorite personal ones are the ones from In Honor by Jessi Kirby that explains how I got my real name (Patience), The Summer I Became a Nerd by Leah Rae Miller that explains my Wonder Woman obsession, and This is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer E. Smith that tells everyone what MY happiness looks like. My favorite fun one was the one that taught females who don’t watch football a little bit about the game from All Lined Up by Cora Carmack. As for the bookish ones, I loved bookish things that make me panic from Panic by Lauren Oliver, a letter to my book boyfriends like To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han, and the top  romantic scenes I’d love to recreate from books, just like in Just Like the Movies by Kelly Fiore.

Phhhewww sorry didn’t mean to ramble, but clearly all those post mean something special to me. So go forth and read them! Comment if you’d like! If not, send me the links to YOUR feature! I’d love to look at those!

  10. That's a really creative idea, almost something you'd write for a personal literary journal, which is what a blog is actually. Here's my FF:

  11. Just pick something that really stands out to you while you read! All of my posts don't take very long. The longest part is normally drafting up the post!

    Thanks for stopping by!

  12. Thank you! It took me FOREVER to find one someone hadn't already done!

    Thanks for stopping by!

  13. I guess. It really just depends on the type of blog you have. For instance, all the scenes or things I write about here have been featured in a book. If this was a personal blog I wouldn't have to put it to a book. Idk if that made sense, but I'm sure you get what I'm trying to say lol

    Thanks for stopping by!

  14. Oh my goodness this is such a great idea. I'm always tying certain scenes in books to my reviews, so this is definitely something I want to partake in. Thanks for stopping by 🙂

  15. That's such an original idea! I'd struggle to do it as it would take me so long, and then I'd get lost in another book and then I'd never get anything done!
