Flynn’s girlfriend, January, is missing. The cops are asking questions he can’t answer, and her friends are telling stories that don’t add up. All eyes are on Flynn—as January’s boyfriend, he must know something.
But Flynn has a secret of his own. And as he struggles to uncover the truth about January’s disappearance, he must also face the truth about himself.

*MY THOUGHTS*

To say I just liked this book was an understatement. I loved this book and Flynn’s story. There were a couple things I took issue with, but at the same time, the overall effect was great. Those two issues didn’t  take too much away from the book and still made it such a great story.
Flynn’s girlfriend is gone and he has no idea until the cops show up at his house. But with every question they ask, the cost of revealing something about Flynn that he’s not yet ready to tell people. But as the stories come out about January, Flynn wonders how he can tell all her secrets but keep his own.
Ok so, I LOVED this. Their were a few things I really, REALLY liked, like the story-line and the mystery. It kept me guessing until the very last minute. I realized who did it at the same time they did. Normally I find it out way before them. And then the other bombshell that was dropped was honestly the best. It made for one of the best endings in a thriller I’ve read in a long time.
I also fell unexpectedly hard for Roehrig’s writing style. It literally sucked me into the story. I remember the first half of the book, I was inhaling it. I couldn’t read it fast enough. And then it really sucked because it was midterm week and I found myself trying to squeeze in my book when I was supposed to be reading other things. It was such a great read I didn’t want to leave it alone.
The only thing I wasn’t a fan of is how he comes out. I felt like he was too pressured. I know it happens that way, (especially  with police involvement) but that doesn’t make it any easier. Especially reading about it. My little cousin is the same age as Flynn was and was forced to tell her story (no police, but she would’ve gotten in trouble without doing so) and it reminded me of that. Granted we didn’t think anything of it, but she still had to do it when she wasn’t ready. And I can only imagine what Flynn was feeling when he had to do it not only in front of his family, but the police as well. Thank goodness he had such an accepting group.
This book was so good and I can’t belive this was actually a debut. Roehrig has already gained a new fan and I can see myself reading this again. This was the perfect book to go alongside with all the heart pumping scary books for Halloween! I’m glad I chose to read this!
Overall, I give this
There will be no quotes because I didn’t want to give away anything!
