What is it with all these FMCs lately? They have all been working my nerves LOL This one was so damn proud. And I have no idea why. Because what in the world made her think she could do something of this magnitude on a wish and spell?
Ok so I was annoyed by her because she was so proud. And she kept acting like this dude was the end all be all. Too much faith in a boy lol I also thought she was annoying because there were just somethings in this story that just didn’t make sense. It was always everyone but one. She just wasn’t trying to see it ya know? I was already annoyed by her being so damn proud, so that just made it worse. Like girl, your magic is still manifesting and you think you can do THIS? She was just annoying lol
The creatures and things in this was also weird? The rest of the town couldn’t see or understand what they were, but they were all up in the business lol It was funny. Their dad isn’t magical, and I thought that was cute. They were magically mixed lol The rest of it was cute too. Like when everything started arriving in town and other things started happening. Like the dog boy (Two for Tuesday anyone?) and the yeti LMAO The vampires were the weirdest ones tho. I don’t want to say why, but yeah lol
I did like the family dynamic in this tho. Her and her sister were terrible. They didn’t talk about anything. And then when they finally did talk, they still didn’t really talk. I was so annoyed. Like they hated each other but for no reason. It was the standard “miscommunication” trope but with her sister? Idk, it was weird. But it’s not all on her. Her sister was doing a lot too. Like girl wtf you did this and then didn’t say anything? Hell naw lol
This was weird, but it was also hella cute. I loved it more than I thought. I thought it was going to be a cheesy kind of fall thing, and it was, but it was also more than that as well. I hadn’t expected the Headless Horsemen or the aunts and Zach to win me over like they did.
