These themes will vary! It could be based off of some book mail I just received, pop culture, something personal to me, a headline from the news, a trend I noticed when I was buying books for my library system, etc. I hope you stick around to see all the themes and book recs I come up with!

Today’s Theme: Kids of Killers
This week I wanted to try something. I’ve been seeing these “Oddly Specific Book Recs” and I thought I should get in on it too! So for the next few weeks I’m going to do some Oddly Specific Two for Tuesdays! Today’s theme is Kids of Killers. This and another book either just came out or are coming out soon and I HAD to use that connection somehow lol So in this one, the main character’s dad is in prison for killing some of the soccer team of the school he coached at. Now Dina is just trying to live her life, so she sneaks out to go to a party with a cute guy. She never imagines what will happen from there. When you figure out all that really happened, you will be in shock, mad, and sad all at the same time. It was a good ol unhinged time LOL [This book is YA and is out now!]
This one was also wild. I didn’ t know what to expect. The parent accused is her dad.In this one her dad is locked up but a new killer has come to target her. After her dad was taken away by the cops she moves away and changes her name. They start sending her body parts with the message “I know Who You Are.”This one was also crazy because holy moly that plot twist? This one is a lot different than the other too lol The themes are more grown up, but one thing they all have in common is thinking “what if I’m like them?” She doesn’t let people in so she was equally freaked out because she didn’t know where it was coming from. I loved this one. I needed to know everything about the main character that I could. [This book is Adult and is out now!]
Well, there you go! Here I’m just going to talk about why I grouped these two books together. I hope you enjoyed a look at this small part of the books. For a full synopsis of the book or to add it to your TBR, click the picture and it will take you to their Storygraph. The link on the caption will take you to it’s Goodreads.

Here’s More that Fit Under “Kids of Killers!”
**This oddly specific book rec post has even more! So, here they are! And yes I know there is another that was recently released, but I didn’t want to feature it on account of her lesbophobia. If you comment it, I will not approve it. I don’t want to give her any shine.

What about you? Have you ever read any of these? Do you like oddly specific book recs? Let me know in the comments!
