Perfect for fans of Rory Power and Tiffany D. Jackson, this twisty horror novel follows a magnetic young influencer who gets ensnared in a web of dark, jealousy-fueled magic.
Three years ago, Bella dumped her best friend Kerry to follow her dreams of becoming an influencer. It worked; she is Such a Lucky Girl, famous for her epic manifesting glow-up and dedicated to helping other girls be “lucky,” too. She’s living the dream—success, sponsorships, and fame. She burned her old life to the ground and never looked back.
     Leaving Kerry behind. Alone. Angry.
When Kerry picks up a vintage self-help book on shadow work, she’s fascinated by the suggested rituals. Get back at those who have wronged her? Yes, please. She has one person in mind, and that girl is smiling at her millions of followers, having forgotten Kerry long ago. But there’s something attached to the book, something dark and ancient, and Kerry and Bella may not be ready for what is about to be unleashed.

*MY THOUGHTS*

This was another weird one lol idk what made me read all these back to back, but I did. This one was no less unhinged than the other. Because what so you mean you did all this because you were jealous?!

Ok so I checked this out because it had an influencer in it. Just like with weddings I will always pick up one of these messy ass books with influencers. There is always some messy ass drama in them. With this one , the way the main character basically manifests everything she wants. She changes her lifestyle and the people in her life and then it actually works. She starts calling herself lucky. What she doesn’t know, is someone out there is jealous and is hoping for her down fall. So much so that they have made manifested against her. But with their manifestation comes an entity. This shit was so out there. I just kept thinking wtf all of this for THAT?! Ain’t no way lol this plot had me hooked…. Once it finally started going.

The plot and the characters were crazy, but the thing that got me was the damn ending! There is a cliff hanger, so be prepared for that. I will keep my eyes out for another, like in a series or something. But I think this was a one time thing and the ending was meant to be a like a bombshell. And well, it got me lol

This was a mess. I don’t want to say more because I don’t want to soil anything, just know that it does take a minute to get going, but once it does, the author doesn’t take her foot off the gas. This book will take you through it, so I hope you pick it up soon!

Overall, I give this
