*MY THOUGHTS*
This was so wildddddd! I don’t think I ever would have thought to pair a thriller with the biggest fan and the sister of the talent, so yeah, this was crazy. But I ended up really enjoying it? Idk what that means about me lol But I did.
Ok so the characters were crazy. I legit hated everyone in this book. Literally everyone lied about something and it made it a lot longer than it had to be. Like dang ain’t some of y’all adults? Why y’all out here lying like that? LOL It was a hot mess. So as you’re reading this, don’t get too comfortable and think you know everything, because you do not LOL
With that being said, I did like the mystery, but it’s written in a way that the person can’t figure out who did it. Like it gives out clues up until the end. I did make a guess and got it right, but how many of these have I read? It didn’t change anything for me tho. This was still really good and I feel like that’s a testament of how good. Because usually that would bother me. I hate when the author doesn’t give all the details out so the reader can guess. But nonetheless this was hella fun and will keep you guessing all the time.
I am a little annoyed that she used Chat GPT for some things tho. Authors can we stop normalizing this? Don’t put it in your books! Idc if the kids are using it. We don’t want to normalize it and give them ideas, so use something else. Teach your character how to use Google or something LOL Other than that, I don’t think there was anything that I had to side-eye.
Lastly, one of the best things about this was the comedic relief. The “big fan” was hilarious. She got into so much shit in so little time. I really had no idea how her ass was sneaking into places, and ending up on tv, and lying about things. And then think of this…. You’re in the middle of an investigation and then all of a sudden….. BOOM a turkey. I had to pause the audio to laugh for a bit because WTF was that LOLOL
This was good. I wish I could tell y’all more, but I don’t want to spoil anything. Especially in this one where an unexpected pair team up to figure this out. Y’all need to witness all this goin on in all its glory because I know you won’t believe it unless you do lol
Overall, I give this
