Why I’m Waiting: I’m not gonna lie…. I saw two things and didn’t care what it was about, just that I needed it. And those were the cover and the fact that it’s been comped to The Hate U Give, All American Boys, and The Black Kids. All books I LOVED. And it’s a YA coming of age novel with a Black main character. I’m here for it!
