These themes will vary! It could be based off of some book mail I just received, pop culture, something personal to me, a headline from the news, a trend I noticed when I was buying books for my library system, etc. I hope you stick around to see all the themes and book recs I come up with!
Today’s Theme: The Ex Files
It took me reading a lot of these to realize that there were so many books that came out Ex in the title. And with me, y’all know I love mess, so of course I added them to my TBR lol This one I’m only about 13% in, but I still like it. And the story has already been set up. I know this bout to be a lot of drama lol Grandma don’t play lol She was already letting everyone know. I can’t wait to finish it out. And since the FMC has just come out of a divorce, I know there’s going to be an added extra element of things going on. (This book is Adult and is out now.)
In this one the FMC takes up a job that I don’t think I could have done lol She’s a “professional ex girlfriend.” Not like she gets together and breaks up with you, more like she’ll date your crush and kinda push him towards you lol But what happens when all of that goes out the window? She goes out on one last job (FROM HER SISTER MIND YOU) and meets the guy she makes her leave all her careful plans out in the cold. What happens to the person who paid her for her services? What does she tell the MMC about how they got together? Does she tell them? It’s a whole lotta drama lol (This is Adult and comes out on Tuesday! The audio is available via Audible right now.)
