Two for Tuesday: The Fire(Fighter’s) So Delightful

These themes will vary! It could be based off of some book mail I just received, pop culture, something personal to me, a headline from the news, a trend I noticed when I was buying books for my library system, etc. I hope you stick around to see all the themes and book recs I come up with!

Today’s Theme: The Fire(Fighter’s) So Delightful

First of all, HAPPY HOLIDAYS! This theme was a fun one! And it’s a double meaning too lol Both firefighters and both holiday books! It seems like such a small thing, but in both they really had a large role in the plot. And I’m just going to say, when I’m thinking of a hot man in uniform, I’m thinking of a firefighter. And I thought it was so weird that I happened upon two of them in these two stories. And let me tell you, I really loved both of them. Like more than I thought I would. Especially since this one was really a novella. But it was funny and I really enjoyed how Griffin teased Everleigh in every situation, but also made sure that she was taken care of each time. And Lordt when things started to heat up between them (pun definitely intended lol) I thinking, “GRIFFIN?!” Because he turned into a whole different person lol It really caught me off guard.

This one also has a really hot firefighter. (Again, pun intended) And let me tell you how hot he is….. This man was Mr. December of the firefighter calendar. And that’s actually where Saira first “meets” him. It’s actually really cute how she fell for him before she even met him. In this one tho he’s a volunteer firefighter, but we still get to see him in so much action. He participated in everything at the station and all. It was really amazing to see how involved he was in his community. He was definitely more to that community than just a coach and a firefighter. They all knew and adored him. And not just because of his past.

[Both of these are adult books!]

Well, there you go! Here I’m just going to talk about why I grouped these two books together. I hope you enjoyed a look at this small part of the books. For a full synopsis of the book or to add it to your TBR, click the picture and it will take you to their Storygraph. The link on the caption will take you to it’s Goodreads.

Have you read either of these? They’re both holiday reads too so go get them now! Have you read it already? Let me know in the comments!
