TTT: Bookish Brags & One Confession!

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish and is now run by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week she will post a new Top Ten list . Everyone is welcome to join.  This week’s topic is:

I’m not a huge fan of this topic because I’m not too great on bragging on myself lol But here goes…………

-My blog is the back of the paperback of Scarlet by Marissa Meyer. My fave book in one of my fave series of all time.
-My blog may be on the smaller side, but I still use it on my resume and it STILL gets people/interviewers to ask me questions about it.
-I get to make decisions on what to buy for the teens in the largest populated county in Texas.
-In layman terms, my job is buying books. Seriously, I have the best job of all time.
-I can listen to audiobooks while working or blog writing. ADHD for the win!
-Since I usually read one book on my Kindle, one book on my iPad, one physical book, and one audiobook at a time, I usually read like 200+ books a year.
-My husband acts annoyed when I buy more books, but he also buys me more anyways. (Yes I’m spoiled lol)
-My blog started as a homework assignment and I kept it just because it was fun.
-I got approved for the new Kristina Forest & the new Kimberly Lemming. And i couldn’t be more excited!
-Oh! I have one confession. I first DNFed The Hunger Games because I said it was unlikely that the govt did this. (I am less sure they wouldn’t act like this now tho…..) I eventually went back and read it because a friend of mine said, “Just get to the games.” I also waited until Twilight was completely out before I read the series. And I STILL haven’t read the entire last book.

What about you? Tell me some of your bragging rights! Let me know in the comments!

  1. Ooh nice ones! That’s awesome about your blog origin story ! I do remember you mentioning it in the past. Yeah, I remember I read the Twilight books because I was bored, I ended up doing a lot of eyerolling but after a certain point I just wanted to see it how it ended…of course I can’t even remember them now! Lol.

    Here’s my Tuesday Post

    Have a GREAT day!
