With the changing of seasons from summer to fall in September, do you have a favorite book that reflects the essence of this transitional period or one that you enjoy reading when the temperature cools down?
Not necessarily a favorite book, more like a specific genre. Summer is when all the scary books come out because they want them to be available for the Halloween season as soon as fall starts. So then when the fall comes, all the Christmas books start coming out. As soon as I read my first holiday book, I’m locked in! I say I’m going to read more scary books, but I never do lol
What about you? Are you a seasonal reader like me? Have you read any Christmas books during Scary Season? Let me know in the comments!
I go for the spooky reads around this time of year if I am not in what I call my event mode reading. Right now I am event mode reading! Lol. Trying to read some books in time for events that are coming up and then I want to do a re-read of the Caraval trilogy to be ready for Spectacular near the end of the month. I never really gravitated towards the other holiday books. Usually holidays don’t play much of role in the books I read unless it just so happens to be at that time of year, but it doesn’t effect the story one way or another. Hope you enjoy the upcoming holiday books once you dive in!
