Two for Tuesday: Shark Week!

These themes will vary! It could be based off of some book mail I just received, pop culture, something personal to me, a headline from the news, a trend I noticed when I was buying books for my library system, etc. I hope you stick around to see all the themes and book recs I come up with!

Today’s Theme: Shark Week!

Ok so Shark Week was the week in July where I had no power (July 7-13) lol And I said I would come back and revisit that week…. And I forgot until now lol Don’t judge me. But I just finished this book and I thought it was cute so I wanted to make sure it got its shine! This second chance romance is STEM filled and all about sharks! They are both shark experts, with Hope coming back to work with her ex, Adrian, the YouTube shark hero. I did think it was going to be more funny than it was, but it was still very cute. And I loved that the STEM part didn’t overpower their romance. It went very nice together like side by side. These sharks were a lot more fun to read than these other ones……….. [This is an Adult Book]

In Shark Night, someone had the bright idea to put their 12 year old into a tank with a shark. And lo and behold, it was the wrong shark! So now he’s stuck in the tank with a tank that might be out to get him! Talk about a viral moment! I can’t imagine trying to get a viral moment by using my son and a shark. I haven’t read this one yet, but I can imagine this one is going to be a doozy! [This is a MG Book]

Well, there you go! Here I’m just going to talk about why I grouped these two books together. I hope you enjoyed a look at this small part of the books. For a full synopsis of the book or to add it to your TBR, click the picture and it will take you to their Storygraph. The link on the caption will take you to it’s Goodreads.

Do you like sharks? Have you read either one of these? Will you? Let me know in the comments!
