There’s a reason CJ Smith’s hometown of Satterville is known as Slasherville: it was the site of not one, but two Friday the 13th-style massacres. CJ’s dad survived the first attack; only CJ survived the second. Why I’m Waiting: YA QUEER SLASHER?! Give me a reason why you think I might not be looking forward to this! Y’all know how much I love YA horror, but even more so when it’s diverse AND even more so when it’s slasher horror! And also, can we talk about this freaking cover? WOW. (But also looking at her hand, is this AI? I’m being serious! I haven’t seen an artist s/o and I genuinely want to know!)

OOoh that does sound intriguing! Love a good thriller and a slasher one at that! I’m honestly terrible at telling if covers are AI these days. I need a tutorial on what to look for. Well I definitely plan on keeping an eye on this one, that’s for sure!
