Nikki’s Trip Recap: Magic Kingdom

So our next day was spent at Magic Kingdom. IT WAS SO HOT. Maybe because there was so much to see and do and we were RUNNING. I don’t even have any pictures because I was running from one ride to the next, making sure my kid was ok while sleeping in that heat, and still trying to see the princesses if I could. The only time I saw them today was during the parade. we ended up having a breakfast with Lilo and Stitch that morning so we went to the park alot later than we wanted. That was fun tho. My sister was so happy.

We missed out on some of the biggest snacks tho. I wanted to try the Mickey bar and the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls, but we didn’t find it. I DID try the grey stuff finally and Dole Whip (my husband took the top off it before he took the picture smh so we just demolished it afterward) and they both were everything I wanted them to be. I was upset at the shop that was supposed to be dedicated to Beauty and the Beast tho. There was HARDLY anything about Belle or the movie in there. There weren’t even any ears. And I was not happy. So I left that day with nothing B&tB inspired except a pic of Gaston’s statue and the grey stuff cupcake lol

The little one actually didn’t really do anything this day. He fell asleep as soon as we got there and then woke up when we stopped moving around so much and were getting ready to eat and then get ready for the fire works. So again, WHEN we come back, we will most definitely be using this day to take him on some rides too. I wanted so bad to take him on It’s a Small World, but there’s always next time!

Again, we missed out on some stuff, but we saw some of the princesses in the parade, and the castle, and we got to ride the newest, fastest ride, Tron, so I’m ok with our visit for now. But again, I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t relate what I DID see to books. So, the book rec series that that no one asked for Part 2………….

So to me Magic Kingdom was all about royalty, with all the castles and the different villages being there. So, I went with some of my favorite stories featuring royalty or those that I’ve seen are popular at work, or those that I have and wish to read soon! And remember this is not an exhaustive list! Tell me which ones you’d like to add or what Magic Kingdom means to you!

What about you? Have you read any of these? Will you read any of them? Do you like books about royalty? I love that royalty can be found in all genres! Do you? Let me know in the comments!
