Nikki’s Trip Recap!: Animal Kingdom

Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! I’m back! After what feels like forever! I went to Disney World for the first time and I had so much fun! It was SUPPOSED to be for me and my son, but he slept a lot of the time lol We’re still on naps at 2, but I knew we’d make the most of it. Anddddddd we definitely did!

One thing we know now is to NEVER fly in the day you’re supposed to be at the park, early in the am and then go straight to the park. My kid was cranky from no sleep, the adults we went with were cranky from no sleep, and I was dragging my own self when I usually get the same amount of sleep anyway lol Because of this tho we missed out on a lot at our first park, which was Animal Kingdom. WHEN we go back, we’ll be doing AK again to get the full experience. (Also next time I want to go during Halloween so it will be less likely to give us a heat stroke like it did this time smh)

ANYWAYS, we did see some things there, like the Tree of Life, Moana, and some other famous animals from Disney movies that we’ve seen and loved. (Well my kid was a little scared of Kevin, but whatever lol) Buttttttt, I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t relate what we did see to books…… So, the book rec series that no one asked for…………………..

As you can see, Animal Kingdom was a huge place that had so many cool animals. We missed a lot of them, but it was cool to see the ones we did see. And remember, this is not an exhaustive list. It’s just a few that I’ve seen that are popular at work or they’re not out yet so I am eagerly anticipating it.

What about you? Have you read any of these? Will you read any of them? Do you like books about animals? Let me know in the comments!
