Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish and is now run by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week she will post a new Top Ten list . Everyone is welcome to join. This week’s topic is:
Favorite Book Settings
–Where ever you are: Idk maybe this is just a me thing, but I love reading books that are set where I live. I love being able to recognize places they mention throughout the story.
–Where I haven’t been: If you haven’t realized by now, my blog is all about visiting places I’ve never been, by book.
-Creepy places: This is probably the only way I’ll visit them, so…… lol
–Places outside the USA: I’ve only been to 3 other countries, so anything outside the US is a learning tool for me
–Honeyduke’s from Harry Potter by Daniel Radcliffe: I know it’s just like one of those candy stores, but I would LOVE to visit Honeyduke’s. I used to work in a candy store and even that was fun, so I can imagine going when there’s magic involved.
–In libraries and/or bookshelves: Listen, I’m a librarian and I can’t help it. This can also possibly be why I love Beauty and the Beast retellings lol
–Places that Have Snow: As a Texan we only get snow sometimes (most times after hurricanes?) But I would love to see some without having to go through an event like that lol
–Luna or the Moon from the Lunar Chronicles: I would love to go to the moon one day.
–Camp Half-Blood: I still think it would be unbelievably cool to be able to go and visit it or at least go in one of the cabins in real life. I still say I’m a daughter of Poseidon.
– Themyscira: Did you think this wasn’t going to be on my list? I will make it there one day. I will get to Wonder Woman’s birth place sometime lol
What about you? Do we share any of the same? Have you read any books set in any of these places? Let me know in the comments!
