You reminded me that I haven’t listened to Concrete Rose yet! I saw an interesting conversation on bookstagram about Thomas writing for white people so I’m curious.
What do you mean? Because in that book it talks about the struggles of being a dad and trying to find a way to provide while living in the hood. I know that can be an anyone problem, but it doesn’t really scream that she’s writing specifically for them imo. Unless you mean she’s trying to explain what it might be like where some people are from?
