This bookish meme tells the blogosphere what all we borrowed, bought, and received for review. It’s hosted over at Tynga’s Reviews.

From the Library:
For Review:

Thank you to Berkley, Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group, and Netgalley for approving my requests! These are super high on my TBR and I’m super excited to read them!

Thanks to Penguin Random House (and their imprints!), DC Comics, and Edelweiss for these! There’s so much goodness here, like the Beauty and the Beast re-telling Curses, and all the diverse reads that I can’t wait to add to my library’s shelves. They all look wonderful, from the Black representation in horror at The Taking of Jake Livingston, to the #ownvoices Taiwanese-American contemporary rom-com A Taste for Love. They’re all something that I can’t wait to add to my collections!

Bought:
Wings of Ebony (Wings of Ebony, #1)

I have been waiting for this book since it only had a small synopsis from the the Rights report. And now I have the finished copy in my hands! If you haven’t read it or are waiting to do so, let me know when you do! I’m only about 80 pages in, but you won’t regret it!

Saturday 01/30/21: No Post (Was out of town for a family funeral)

This week was pretty scarce because if you don’t know I was out of town with my hubs and his family. We attended a walking wake and then a socially distant funeral. His aunt beat the disease, but passed on from complications. Please for the love of Pete, I’m begging you all, wear your masks, social distance, and wash/sanitize your hands. This whole thing is completely avoidable if you take the necessary precautions.

Me on Instagram:

After getting back home from Louisiana from the sad family occasion, I got some happy bookmail. I was so glad to see the final results after wanting this from just the Right’s Release. Congrats to J. Elle for her release of her wonderful book!

What about you? Have you read any of these? Are you looking forward to any of these like I am? Let me know in the comments!
