This bookish meme tells the blogosphere what all we borrowed, bought, and received for review. It’s hosted over at Tynga’s Reviews.

For Review:
Every Body Looking (Ada, #1)

This showed up at my house and I was SO. HAPPY! I LOVE this cover and I have been loving all these novels in verse lately. And this one sounds so good! Can’t wait to get to read it!

From Netgalley/ Edelweiss:
From trades!:

Hubs: “I mean I can’t believe you still have to trade for these Own Voices things, but I’m happy people are out there that can help you with your collection.
Me: “How do you not know anything about being bookish, but you get it? I’m absolutely thankful for those that trade with me and just know that I’m looking for books that represent me in any way!

From the Library:

Does anyone see a pattern here? I’m weirdly obsessed with stabby killy books lol Now if only I could figure out a way to get them sent at different times instead of all at once lolol #NikkiProblems

Bought:
Now That I've Found You

FINALLY got my pre-order in after waiting for it to be sent after a hurricane scare and so much other stuff. I’m just thankful it arrived in one piece without any harm!

The Weekly Wrap-Up:

Sunday 08/30/2020: Stacking the Shelves #388 & the Weekly Wrap-Up!
Monday 08/31/20: The Monthly Wrap-Up: August 2020
Tuesday 09/01/20:  Top 10 Tuesday: Books that Made me Hungry!
Wednesday 09/02/20: Waiting on Wednesday: Nubia: Real One by L.L. McKinney
Thursday 09/03/20: 10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston
Friday 09/04/20: Book Blogger Hop: Labor Day Reads!
Saturday 09/05/20: No Post! (I’m prepping for a secret work thing and I really can’t concentrate on anything else right now lol I’ll explain after I’ve done it!)

Me on Instagram:

When I tell y’all my holds ALWAYS come in at the same time, I’m always for real lol smh I only have one car! Idk how I’m going to finish all of these!

I am really loving doing these Reading Journal spreads. I think next year I’ll x-nay my other reading journal and only do this one. This one is so much more creative and so much more fun. Also, I bought a new printer at home just so I can do more of these and not use my ink at work lol It was ok at first since it’s for a work project, but if I’m going to continue, I know I’ll need my own!

What about you? What have you been up to this week? What have you gotten this week? Did you get any of these? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Oh nice new reads! It’s great that your hubby is accepting of the whole book trading/collecting thing! He may not get it, but it’s great that he’s supportive! My mom still gives me odd looks when I start shopping for books I own in different forms. Lol.

Nice new reads this week too! I hope you enjoy them all!

    Here’s my StS

    Have a GREAT day!
