Stacking the Shelves #381 & the Weekly Wrap-Up!

This bookish meme tells the blogosphere what all we borrowed, bought, and received for review. It’s hosted over at Tynga’s Reviews.

From the Library:

Woo! I logged in to Overdrive to start the next book I have checked out. And I saw Faith was available. I GRABBED it before anyone else could! As for Agnes and Camp, I’m super excited for them!

For Review:
The Black Kids

Listen, I think I won this, but I am so happy that I did! I CANNOT WAIT TO READ THIS! It really scares me that this happened in the 90’s and now its 2020 and the same things are still happening and there’s still no accountability. I can’t give this to my teens since I can’t give them anything right now, but I do plan to book talk this to them, showing them that this isn’t something that came out of no where, that this isn’t something new and this is why we’re so angry.

Me on Instagram:

I don’t know the last non-fiction book I read, so finally getting Stamped in made me nervous, but I should have known better. I listened to the audio while also following along with the hardcover. It was an amazing book and I hope everyone reads and loves it as well.

We were planning Shark Week at work, so this seemed like the best time to introduce what I have in mind for Shark Week! This little trick is going to hopefully going to turn some kids into marine biologists or something lol

I came across this on Amazon…. And I thought it was PERFECT. I’ve been staying home since before it was cool!

I finally finished getting my home library moved 100% into it’s new space in the house. My landing is so much bigger than that spare bedroom and now I’m completely in love. I feel like it’s half finished now (vs the room where it was wall to wall shelves) but I still think it looks decent for now.

What about you? Did you get any of these books in your StS? Have you read any of these already? Let me know in the comments!
