Stacking the Shelves #380 & the Weekly Wrap-Up!

This bookish meme tells the blogosphere what all we borrowed, bought, and received for review. It’s hosted over at Tynga’s Reviews.

From the Library:

Why yes you see a historical romance on my StS. Why? Everyone was so excited about the last one that came out and said this entire series was so good and of course I had to at least try one. I will let you all know how I like it once I get to it!

Traded:
Hide and Seeker

THANK YOU Emma! I LOVE this cover and I can’t wait to see what this creepy middle grade is all about!

Cinderella Is Dead

I LOVED this one! I asked around to see if someone would trade this for me to go along with my Own Voices collection, and someone did! I’m very happy with this and I can’t wait for my pre-order to come in because this story was BOMB!

Bought:

I was going around and changing my library around, and I realized I didn’t have a HC of Long Way Down! Idk how that happened, but I fixed it as soon as I realized it. I don’t have a 1st edition, but I do have the one with all the pretty stickers.

Me on Instagram:

Man listen, he NEVER sits there on the patio, but the one time I was trying to film something right there, he of course backed his self right up and squatted down smh He stayed there the whole time too lolol

I went to vote. And it was cool because I had just started reading The Voting Booth. When I went to vote I had just gotten off work and I had this shirt on. The lady that was there was also a librarian. She didn’t get my shirt. I just said it was some Black librarian humor lolol

Ayyyeeee the Baby-Sitter’s Club came out on the 3rd! So far I’ve only watched episode 1-5. I didn’t want to binge it all at once. But believe you me, I definitely could have. Claudia was always my favorite, but I was most like Mary Anne. I always thought Jessi was pretty cool too because she was the only Black one.

What about you? Did you get any of these reads? Are they at least on your TBR? Let me know in the comments!

  1. OOh nice new reads!! Hope you enjoy them all! That middle grade one looks positively creepy from the cover alone!

I started watching The Babysitter’s Club myself. I never read the books so I couldn’t remember if the girls were middle school age or not. I felt like the old show had them as high schoolers, or it was just the time when they used older kid actors. I meant to watch another episode before bed last night but ended up watching fireworks through various news programs. Lol. Gotta get my fix somehow!

    Here’s my StS

    Have a GREAT day!

    1. I hope that middle grade is as creepy as it looks! I hope you like the Baby-Sitter’s Club. I’ve still only watched 1-5, but I plan to watch the rest soon.

  2. Oooh, Wicked and the Wallflower. Nice! I really liked that book. Still need to read the rest of the series, but it’s opening book was very promising for the world Sarah MacLean sets up in Covent Garden.

    1. I can’t wait to read it. I’ve heard so much about this series. I hope this is a good one for someone starting in historical romance! Glad you liked it too!

  3. I’m happy you got your copy of Cinderella is Dead, I should eventually start my copy.

Have you read the first two in MacLean’s series? I made it to about 30% of the first one and got distracted but hope to return one day.

    1. Read it! I really liked it! I hope it turns into a companion series. And as for MacLean’s series, I thought that was the first one? I hope so because I started there lol
