Follow Friday: All the Feels Edition

So obviously I lost count on how many of these I’ve done, so I’m just going to start giving editions lol

Question: What is the last book that made you cry? Tell us about the scene…

A: The last book I read that made me bawl like a little baby was The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. (Bet that one’s gonna pop up a bunch this week.) So much so that I couldn’t write a coherent review of it. I think the most I said was “Soooo good… Cried the entire time…. Loved the characters…” and that was it. As far as the scene, I don’t want to give out a huge chunk of the story, so I’ll just leave a quote where I was doing the loud sobbing ugly cry.

“There are infinite numbers between 0 and 1. There’s .1 and .12 and .112 and an infinite collection of others. Of course, there is a bigger infinite set of numbers between 0 and 2, or between 0 and a million. Some infinities are bigger than other infinities. A writer we used to like taught us that. There are days, many of them, when I resent the size of my unbounded set. I want more numbers than I’m likely to get, and God, I want more numbers for Augustus Waters than he got. But, Gus, my love, I cannot tell you how thankful I am for our little infinity. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. You gave me a forever within the numbered days, and I’m grateful.”
The Fault In Our Stars by John Green

If you HAVE read this, you know exactly what I mean. If you haven’t, WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!?!?!

What made you do the dreaded ugly cry? Leave me a link and I’ll be sure to visit!
