Q: What have you learned from book blogging that you didn’t know before about the publishing industry?
A: Honestly I didn’t know how big a part we played in the publishing world. I had no idea there were ARC’s and that bloggers could get their hands on them. Once I found out about those, I realized that bloggers play a big part in the marketing aspect. I also didn’t know that some authors are so down to earth. Ok maybe I was expecting them to be snobbish because they know their book is awesome, but I haven’t talked to an author yet who I felt was like that. Granted I haven’t met any in person, but still. Talking to them on Twitter and my blog counts for something right?
