Top 10 Words/Topics That Instantly Make Me Buy/Pick Up A Book
*These are in no particular order.*
1. Magic- I LOVE magic. And after Harry Potter I’ll read anything dealing with it.
2. Romance- Call me mushy, but in order for me to read it, it has to have some romance. And if its forbidden love, all the more better!
3. Mythology- After reading Rick Riodran’s Percy Jackson series I am HOOKED. I will give anything with mythology a try.
4. Mysteries- I really love mysteries. I love to try and guess the ending, but then hate it when I’m right because that means I was able to find it too easy lol
5. Paranormal Creatures: I love the made up paranormal world. I love the way authors can make up their worlds and their predicaments.
6. World Building- I love to see how things can be made up or enhanced through the author’s eyes.
7. Time travel- I love the flashing of back and forth!
8. Retellings- It doesn’t matter what its a retelling of, I love them! Even if I had never heard of the book its a retelling of, I will still read it just to see the twist.
9. Humor- I love to laugh.
10. Beautiful Covers- I know, I know…. Shallow. But I love a beautiful cover. If its attractive, I’ll pick it up and THEN read the synopsis.

Two that I didn't think of that I loooove on your list: World building and beautiful covers. WB, for one, is what makes most of the brilliant books out there what they are: brilliant. And beautiful covers draw us all in, whether we like to admit it or not. I stand with you on this 100%! 😉 I wish I'd thought of those! 😉
