I found myself asking why February was considered Black History Month, so I looked it up. February is considered Black History Month because two people who are very large in Black History had birthdays in the same week. It started as a week, but in the 40’s some people were celebrating it the whole month.
As a librarian and blogger, I find that one of my favorite ways to celebrate it is reading and blogging about Diverse and Own Voices Books. I have SO. MANY. FAVORITES. that I posted about last year. I read a great deal of those from that post last year, so here’s some from this year that I can’t wait to read!

Those That are Out that I still Haven’t Read:
And these are only SOME of the books on my TBR that I’m desperate to get my hands on. And I know I’m putting out this 2020 African American Book-List at the end of the month, but as I’ve said before, everyone should read these books all the time. Not just in February.
And yet, there’s so many more that I still need to read!
Any here that you think I need to add to this list?
Any that you see here that you haven’t added to your TBR?
