What is your opinion of bibliotherapy? Do you think this is a useful way of dealing with psychological issues? If you’ve used it yourself, or know someone who has, what book(s) would you recommend?
I use bibliotherapy all the time. I always read when I get upset. Sometimes I can stop my spiraling when my mind is constantly busy, so I always grab a book. As far as what books do I recommend? That’s up to the person. However, I will say for me, if it moves too slow my mind tends to wander.

I read for escapism too. I'd even say that it helps with my own stress relief because I forget about everything else when I am reading a book. But obviously there are some issues that should be addressed and not just escaped for a few hours, so perhaps it's just a good stress reliever and can be a part of therapy. Jut not a cure-all.
