I’ve been a blogger for about 7 years, and I’ve only read about 3 Sarah Dessen books out of 13 of them. So this while Penguin Teen is doing their #ReadaDessen for the spring/summer, I guess this is the BEST time to do it!!!! So, here’s the list of Sarah Dessen books, I’ll cross off the ones I’ve read!:
Keeping the Moon*
Dreamland
This Lullaby
The Truth About Forever
Just Listen
Lock & Key
Along for the Ride
What Happened to Goodbye
The Moon and More
Once and For All (Out June 6, 2017)
*What I’m currently listening to right now!
So now that the countdown to Once and For All is on, I can hopefully get all of these read! Let’s see how things go!
Have you read any Sarah Dessen books?
Which is your favorite?!
I have never read anything by Dessen (then again, I'm not really a contemporary reader), but have fun!
I've read 7/13. I may have to join you on this journey because I've been meaning to read her entire blacklist
I read Sara Dessen as a teen and adult ! Keeping The Moon and This Lullaby were my favorites and they still hold up !
The Truth About Forever is my new favorite and while Along For The Ride is a little long, it's really good on audio.
Listening to the audios has helped me so much! I would recommend them if you can! I listen to them while I'm doing home work and they're so short I normally finish them in a sitting or two!
I like Sarah Dessen's novels because they don't focus on the romance. Like the one I just finished (Keeping the Moon) was focused more on friendship and more on discovering the good things about yourself. (Also keep in mind that this book is about 20 years old!)
